Museum
We are a museum and culture based NGO with some collections of Albanian material culture, and some international objects. As the new museum definition by ICOM reads: “A museum is a not-for-profit, permanent institution in the service of society that researches, collects, conserves, interprets and exhibits tangible and intangible heritage” our work of this small museum if going toward the accomplishing it.
Heritage
Cultural heritage refers to the legacy of languages, customs, traditions, values, places, and objects created by human communities as an expression of living, which is passed on to future generations. UNESCO defines it as our legacy from the past, what we live with today, and what we pass on to future generations. It helps us examine our history and traditions and enables us develop an awareness about ourselves.
Culture
It is defined as the arts and other manifestations of human intellectual achievement regarded collectively.
