"AbandoNADA Adriatica" film achieves a unique symbolic resonance, aligned with abandoned, ruined, neglected, and forgotten spaces we often pass by without noticing. Yet, poetry and music provide an aesthetic experience, transforming what may seem dirty, gray, decayed, and discarded into something evocative and meaningful. The film is the result of work on the project Feminine Frames: Poetic Justice for the Adriatic's Abandoned Places, which was financially supported by the Western Balkan Fund.
Last August 2024, we warmly welcomed Nataša Simeunović Bajić, cultural practitioner and professor from Serbia, a long-lasting partner with MuZEH Lab. Her research in Durres, and also Petrovac was focused on abandoned places, and an important gem of the city is King Zog Palace, which was part of her experimental documentary film aftermath.
